Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your Derso English account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is irreversible.

Delete from the app (fastest)

In the Derso English app: Profile tab → scroll down → “Delete my account” → confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Delete by email

If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the address your account is registered with, requesting “account deletion.” We verify your identity via that address and complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email, name, session data)
• Your learning data: placement results, conversation sessions, reports, vocabulary progress
• Your voice recordings are already deleted the moment they are transcribed; they are never stored long-term.

Limited data kept for legal reasons

Billing/payment records may be retained (de-identified from your personal content) for the period required by tax and accounting law. These are kept solely to meet legal obligations, not to identify you.

Your store subscription

Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel your Google Play or App Store subscription. To stop renewal, cancel it in the relevant store: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; App Store → Settings → Subscriptions.
